At its thickest, it is a dark hunter-green and when it thins out, it is flush with pleasing kelp-like greens and rolling hills of grassy jades. KELP FOREST is all you need to paint a woodland scene. Thin it out to find even more flora yellow and green undertones. A botanist's hue, it doesn't get any more earthy than this. (See this review as an example.LEMONGRASS is a vegetal yellow-green that is alive with the vibrance of spring. (Due to potential viruses, I delete attachments unless I have requested them.) Due to postage costs, I do have to limit this offer to USA and Canada addresses, although I may occasionally have e-book reviews or “direct from publisher” options that are open to writers from other countries.

As an incentive, regular reviewers will also have the chance to receive free coloring books to review! For every 3 reviews you submit that are accepted for publication, I will send you a book from my review stack, for you to keep after reviewing. However, it would really make it easier if I could count on several guest reviewers to submit reviews, so this post is also a call for writers who would like to review books. Also, for the next couple weeks, I’m going to try to post daily, to make up for the 3-week hiatus. That should keep the average reviews each month about the same. So instead of 2-3 reviews a week, I’m going to work toward 3-4. That said, you never know what’s going to happen to affect the schedule, so in order to keep myself from tearing my hear out every month, I’ve decided to make a change in how I handle my review schedule here on .įrom now on, the last week of each month will be a “no reviews” week, to give me uninterrupted time to work on the magazine, at least until it’s more than just me working on it! To make up for that, I’m going to try to increase the number of reviews I post during the other weeks in the month.

On the plus side, a lot of the overload was simply because it was the first issue, so hopefully it won’t be quite as bad going forward.

I just didn’t have time for both! (My partner in the magazine had to step back due to health issues, so I ended up with way more on my plate than I had originally anticipated.) Part of the “not according to plan” involved an unintentional 3-week gap in reviews here on. The premier issue of Color On! Magazine went live, and I’ve spent the last couple weeks ironing out technical hiccups and fixing things that didn’t quite go according to plan.

So as some of you know, on October 1st, I launched a magazine.
